Summer is possibility one of my favorite times of the year. Despite the heat, it means outside fun and no rain, which is pretty much the forecast the rest of the year here in Oregon.
This weekend Jason and I got the opportunity to babysit for some of my favorite people, the Kings. More specifically Andrew (5) and Emma (3). They live right behind us, so we end up at each others houses a lot.
A picture gone wrong. It was a very sunny day and my camera was being difficult. This was the best picture I was able to get. The boy in the front is Andrew and his sister, Emma is behind him. Levi, as you can see, is about to dive off the slide.
A beautiful summer day in Aloha, Oregon. We played in the house, ate mac and cheese while watching Lilo and Stitch while Levi was taking a nap. Then off to the duck pond we went to feed the ducks. After getting throughly messy from picking blackberries, we finished the afternoon off with some good old fashioned playing at the park. It was a busy, but fun, day. After the kids were picked up, Aunt Rose came over to babysit while mom and dad got to go out to the first movie in a long time. We watched the new Batman movie (Jason's choice). It was kind of creepy and I don't know if I like it or not. I'm still thinking about it.
This stroller was the find of a lifetime (well, to me at least). I had been looking for a jogging stroller because our other one was just not cutting it. One Saturday morning Jason went out and got this red number for me. Someone was giving it away on craigslist. Levi has spent a good amount of time in this stroller knows how to get REALLY comfortable.
Since the day Levi was born he has found much more fascination with everyday objects rather than the expensive toys his grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles get him. Right now he has been crawling around the house with a spoon in one hand and a baby toothbrush in the other. It keeps him occupied.
