A few weeks ago the weather started getting nice. Rain a few days then a couple days of sun, rain, sun, rain sun and we actaully got a patch of nice sunny weather on a saturday, so we took advantage and got to work on the yard. The boys helped me move things, 'weed' and do a few other things before I let them go ride their scooters.
We planted some herbs on the front porch,
lettuce, tomatoes, raspberries in the back.
I worked on some of the inside plants.
The boys chalked it up and scooted around a whole lot.
And Jason did this: it might not look like much but he dug a huge ditch along the side yard, put in a drainage pipe and got several loads of gravel and dirt to fill it. Hopefully that will keep the fort from getting too swampy.
By the end we were all tired. Especially Mr. Max who passed out the moment he sat down.
