A couple weeks ago, when the weather was nice for pretty much the first time this year, Jason pulled out the 'fire bowl' and we had dinner by the fire. Max loved putting things on sticks and actually did it quite well, though we had to eventually confiscate it because he then thought it was a sword.
This year the grass is looking SO good, a zillion times better than last summer which was basically hard bumpy ground covered either in moss or dead grass with tiny patches of grass here or there. Now a majority is actually grass! I'm loving it and so are the boys running around barefoot. Thanks to Jason and whatever he did.
The boys passing around a 'cold one'. Boys and their root beer.
Levi loved it all and was actually able to kind of roast his own hot dog and marshmallow to which he said "This is the best campfire ever!" I don't know if it count's because he says that phrase at least a half a dozen times a day. He's such a funny fellow. He loved roasting the marshmallows but only took a nibble and decided he was done.
Max on the other hand thoroughly enjoyed the fact there were plenty of smore supplies. Here's to a fun summer filled with sun, s'mores and smiles. Maybe it will even be the "best summer ever!"
